The winners of the 7th European edition of the Prix Laurence, literary competition for young authors
 
 
This Saturday and Sunday, the two finals (2 age categories) for the literary competition for young authors aged 12 to 26, Prix Laurence, took place in Bettembourg.
 
 
The jury: Vesna Andonovic, Martine Forty, Jérôme Jaminet, Christiane Kremer, Christine Mandy, Antoine Pohu, Thomas Schoos and Pit Hoerold.

  • 1st Prize - Prix Laurence 2022: Marie Viry, Luxembourg - L’apothéose
  • 2nd Prize: Aurelia Wells, Luxembourg – The poems inside
  • 3rd Prize: Valentina Venti, Luxembourg – Rêverie: La perfection
  • Mention spéciale du Jury (Special Mention of the Jury): Cheryl Fairon, Luxembourg – Down the rabbit hole
  • Coup de coeur of the Jury: Maria Lucas Cruz, Portugal - Um sonho tornado realidade

Let us recall that 168 young authors participated with 239 texts in this 7th European edition of the competition, organised in the framework of the participation of the municipality of Bettembourg in Esch2022, European Capital of Culture.
 
 
The Prix Laurence 2022 anthology, containing the texts of all the finalists and winners in the 2 age categories (12 to 17 years old and 18 to 26 years old), will be available soon!
