A silhouette hiding in the corner
An eye breaking through my shelter
A feeling inside getting stronger
My blanket being my only anchor
He comes out, dancing in the dark
I see him now, in shapes of grey
His movements – they seem so sharp –
Now this feeling won’t go away
Surrounded by mountains of pillows
Watched over by armies of playthings
Trapped beneath my blanket – he knows –
Hiding away from shadow and feelings
On tip toes he flies like a feather
My heart racing, nowhere to flee
Creature and feeling melting together
It shall be fear that eats me
