The cold air comes over me like a wave,
The sharp winds turn my loose hair unarranged,
These winter days give me the feels I crave,
The impression that life remains unchanged.
In the frozen forest I feel serene,
All alone I wander through the deep snow,
Not a single living being can be seen,
The sole sound the music of an icy blow.
I manage to escape from busy days,
Lost in my silent thoughts I go on,
Blindly following nature's ways,
Until all my worries are gone.
I realize here in the cold on my own,
This is the sole true peace ever known.
